Rydev is pleased to announce the participation of Alfonso Chacón-Rodríguez, Ph.D., Professor at the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica and Co-Founder & Vice President of Business Development at Rydev ASIC Design House, in the IEEE Latin America & the Caribbean Semiconductor Summit (LACSS 2025). The event will take place on September 26, 2025, in Bogotá, Colombia.

LACSS is the first Innovation, Workforce, and Research Conference (IWRC) focused on semiconductors to be held in Latin America. Organized by IEEE Region 9, IEEE Future Directions, and IEEE-USA, the summit will bring together leaders from academia, industry, and government to discuss strategies that strengthen the regional semiconductor ecosystem and global competitiveness.

Dr. Chacón-Rodríguez’s presence highlights Rydev’s commitment to advancing research, fostering collaboration, and supporting initiatives that accelerate the growth of the semiconductor sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.
