On May 16, 2025, Rydev held its regular strategic team meeting, bringing together our Costa Rica-based staff in person, along with remote participation from our team in Argentina and colleagues from our sister company, Emtech. The meeting took place at Gruta Bohemia, nestled in the mountains of El Guarco, Cartago.

Our CEO, Guillermo Güichal, connected from Mar del Plata to open the session with a reflection on the achievements of the year so far. This was followed by updates from CTO Ronny García and General Engineering Manager Renato Rimolo, who highlighted key ongoing projects and shared encouraging feedback received from clients. CFO Alfonso Chacón-Rodríguez then outlined the marketing and technical initiatives planned for Q2, and Renato closed the session with an exciting overview of the company’s upcoming business ventures.

We also had the pleasure of introducing two new team members in person: Melissa Vega and Andrés Quesada.
After a short break, Senior Lead Designer Kaleb Alfaro delivered a technical session on building the Register Layer Abstraction environment in UVM. The day continued with a refreshing nature walk through the misty trails surrounding the venue, culminating in the stunning view of three cascading waterfalls. We wrapped up the meeting with a hearty lunch and some well-deserved board game time.
