August and September were a couple of busy months here in Rydev. Our General Engineering Manager, Renato Rimolo-Donadio, attended the “International Technology Security and Innovation.
(ITSI) Workforce Accelerator Kick-Off Session” in San Jose, Costa Rica, collaborating in the definition and implementation of strategies for building a diverse and resilient workforce in the semiconductor assembly, test, and packaging (ATP) sector. Then, our VP of Business Development, Alfonso Chacón-Rodríguez attended the “International Technology Security and Innovation (ITSI) Policy and Supply Chain Kick-Off Session”. Six exciting days of exploring critical policy challenges and opportunities for Costa Rica as a key player within the semiconductors supply chain. We want to thank the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Economic and Business (EB) Affairs, Arizona State University (ASU), The Ministry of Foreign Trade (COMEX), and The Ministry of Science, Innovation, Technology, and Telecommunications (MICITT) for inviting us.
During September, we also attended the “Segundo Encuentro Regional de Innovación, Emprendimiento y Transferencia de Conocimiento en Centroamérica,” organized by the neXo Subcomission of CONARE in Costa Rica. Our General Engineering Manager, Renato Rimolo-Donadio, participated as a panelist on the Entrepreneurship from University Knowledge Session, together with Prof. Lilliana Rodríguez, UTN, Prof. Olman Murillo, ITCR, and moderated by Gloriana Vargas, UTN. Thanks to neXo CONARE and Proinnova for inviting us to this event.
