Ronny is founding partner and COO at RYDEV. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering, he has an outstanding career of several years in the Microelectronics industry at Intel Corp., both in design and verification of complex digital ICs. Ronny is passionate about the advancement of technology, the development of teams and people, and the improvement of processes and methodologies. He’s also been actively involved in research and development both at academia and industry.

Alfonso, founding partner and CFO at RYDEV, has a PhD in Electronics Engineering and a career of more than 20 years in academia, both as professor and researcher in the areas of analog and digital circuits, VLSI physical design, and programmable digital logic at Tecnologico de Costa Rica. He’s also served as a consultant and IC designer for several VLSI design houses in the past. He’s an IEEE senior member, and is an Industry Distinguished Lecturer for the Circuits and Systems Society, for the 2024-2025 period. Alfonso is also a fiction writer with a national literary award from his home country, Costa Rica, in 2011.

Mauro is an electronic engineer with more than 20 years of solid experience in research, analysis, design and development of digital systems. The first years of his vocation were oriented to the design and verification of PCBs using best practices, assembly and commissioning of complex systems. He recently specialized in project management and the operational area of projects, managing to guide and carry out interdisciplinary projects in conjunction with work groups.
Renato Rimolo-Donadío, Ph.D.

Renato holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the TU-Hamburg in Germany and has a 20-year career both in academia, as a university professor, and with the semiconductor industry, as a consultant and working with several companies including IBM Research and Intel Corporation. His areas of expertise are signal and power integrity, high-speed integrated circuit and interconnect design, advanced packaging technologies and high-frequency characterization and test. Renato has a record of over one hundred scientific publications, two U.S. Patents, several awards, and invited talks & lectures. He is an IEEE Senior Member and currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Transactions on Signal and Power Integrity. Renato brings his expertise for the development and consolidation of our engineer teams, supporting our customers, and promoting the growth of the technical and product areas.
